Apostle of Hustle – One More Night (Stars Cover)

Today’s tune is a cover of the StarsLow Stars reviews classic One More Night, from their cheekily titled 2007 remix album Do You Trust Your Friends; the album features covers of Stars songs from artists such as Final Fantasy, The Most Serene Republic, MetricMetric reviews, and Young Galaxy.  This particular cover is done by Broken Social SceneBroken Social Scene reviews lead guitarist Andrew Whiteman’s project Apostle of Hustle.  The cover does well in reworking the song into a completely distinct version, while still maintaining enough of the original nuance to make it recognizable.  The original version of the song can be heard in one of our previous posts here.  We’ve also posted Final Fantasy’s cover of Your Ex-Lover is Dead from the album here.
