My song for today comes from the UK indie/alt-rock quartet Arctic Monkeys.  Fluorescent AdolescentFluorescent Adolescent reviews can be found on the band’s second studio album Favourite Worst NightmareFavourite Worst Nightmare reviews, and was released as the album’s second single in July of 2007.  The album, as expected, experienced tremendous success in the UK; On April 29th 2007, the day the album charted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart, all 12 tracks from the album charted in the Top 200 of the UK Singles Chart, ranging from BrianstormBrianstorm reviews at #7 to If You Were There, Beware at #189.  For a cover of the song, from English indie/anti-folk star Kate Nash, click here.
