I know I say this about every song I post, but I’m really feeling today’s number. With an amazing vocal tone, an irresistible beat, and painfully honest lyrics, Afie Jurvanen (aka. Bahamas) crafts a classic. This isn’t an attempt to compare/liken artists (just an observation), but near the end of the song when I hear Alfie summon his falsetto, I’m sure Justin Vernon has somehow found his way into the recording studio. Already Yours can be found on Bahamas’ debut effort “Pink Strat”, released on July 21st of this year. Though the name Afie Jurvanen may sound new to a lot of readers, you’ve likely heard his work in support of other Canadian acts such as Great Lake Swimmers, Amy Millan, ZeusZeus reviews
