Song Review
Julie and I started working on a song today, tentatively titled Happy Friday. So far, we have “It’s Fridayyyyyyyyyyy” down on paper; We will keep everyone posted on where this goes. I’ve got a great track to close out the work week this afternoon from the Vancouver progressive/indie-rock band Bend Sinister. Since forming in 2001, the band has put out 4 releases, including their sophomore full-length release Stories Of Brothers, Tales Of Lovers in October of 2008; The Same Things can be found on said release. On a side-note, Bend Sinister played the Sled Island festival in Calgary this year, but Julie and I opted to see The Breeders instead; Perhaps we will catch them next year.
