I started listening to a lot more LCD Soundsystem this week, after discovering that the group was one of only two bands to crack the top 20 on Pitchfork’s Top 500 Tracks of the 2000s twice. All My FriendsAll My Friends reviews
came in at #2 and can be found on the band’s universally acclaimed 2nd album Sound of SilverSound of Silver reviews
, released in March of 2007. The version I chose to share with everyone today is a cover, done by the Scottish indie-rock band Franz FerdinandFranz Ferdinand reviews; The cover was actually included on the B-side of subsequent releases of the original track. Although I really dig the cover, there is something about that piano loop that everything crescendos around in the original that I can’t get enough of.
