This tune has to be one of the most entertaining songs I have heard in a while. It may get old eventually, but for the time being its getting some ridiculous play on my computer. Start Wearing Purple comes to us from the gypsy-punk band Gogol Bordello by way of their third album Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike; The song served as the band’s first North American single. The band itself is a multi-ethnic concoction of Eastern European immigrants now residing in New York’s lower east side. Of course one could hardly expect a gem like this to come from anywhere else.
