Defiant to the bitter end, Hayden delivers a fine piece of scorned indie/folk love-rock with Let’s Break Up. Found on Paul Hayden Desser’s 2009 full-length release The Place Where We Lived, the song offers a number of lines that should be immediately written down for use if ever on the shittier side of a break-up. Like Hayden’s previous 7 full-length efforts, The Place Where We Lived was released via his recording label Hardwood Records. Other artists who have released via Hardwood include the Oshawa group Cuff the Duke, and London, Ontario’s Basia Bulat who released her second full-length album Heart of My Own earlier today.
