With our California vacation coming to an end, Julie and I found ourselves too sun burnt to leave the condo yesterday. The band behind today’s post, Hey Rosetta!, is a six-piece Canadian indie-rock/pop act hailing from the always balmy St John’s, Newfoundland. A Thousand Suns can be found on the band’s second full-length album Into Your Lungs (and around in your heart and on through your blood), released on June 3rd 2008. The album won the award for Album of the Year at the inaugural Verge Music Awards, put on by the XM Radio Channel “The Verge” which features emerging rock artists from Canada.
