Regina Spektor – The Ghost of Corporate Future

So I found out recently that WordPress (the blogging software I use for this here website) has the ability to schedule the publishing of posts.  This is awesome as I am going out of town this weekend, and have little interest in taking my computer with me.  At the moment, it is a Wednesday night and I’m sitting on my couch trying to hammer out a few posts.  By the time anyone reads this however, I will be laying on the beach in Penticton with a rum and coke concealed inside a pop bottle.  

Today’s tune comes from my favorite female on the planet Regina Spektor, and her 2004 release Soviet KitschSoviet Kitsch reviews.  For the other Spektor fans reading this, it was announced last month that an upcoming album titled FarFar reviews is set to be released on June 23rd, 2009.  On top of the album announcement, last week Spektor debuted Laughing WithLaughing With reviews, the opening single to the album, via her MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/reginaspektor).  The official release of the single is scheduled for May 18th, 2009.
