Sorry for the long delay since the last post; it was our end-of-season softball tournament this weekend.  7 games, 2 destroyed knees, 1 sunburn, and a win in the finals later, I am back with some music.  Today’s post comes from the UK indie-rock band Stereophonics, and is their take on The Rolling Stones classic Gimme ShelterGimme Shelter reviews.  The song can be found on the B-side of the single My FriendsMy Friends reviews, which itself can be found on the Stereophonics’ 2007 full-length release Pull the PinPull the Pin reviews.  Though not as successful as SatisfactionSatisfaction reviews, Gimme Shelter can be found at position #38 on Rolling StoneRolling Stone reviews’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
