The Kooks – Kids (MGMT Cover)

I’m really really digging tonight’s tune.  If I could take all of my favorite things from last year, throw them into a blender, and have that blender spit out a song and post it on YouTube, this would be it.  MGMT and The KooksThe Kooks reviews put out two of my favorite albums of 2008 and, presently, Andrew VanWyngarden and Luke Pritchard are two of my favorite vocalists/songwriters.  Combine that with one of the hottest songs 0f 2008 in Kids, and we’ve got something serious on our hands.  If, for reasons unfathomable to myself, you have not heard the original track, you can check it out here.
